Q: What is "sterling silver"?
A: By law, sterling silver must be at least 92.5% pure silver. The remaining 7.5% is made up of another metal, usually copper, which gives sterling its stiffness and excellent wearing qualities. Often, sterling jewelry is marked with the stamp of "925".
Q: How do I care for my sterling silver jewelry?
A: Like all jewelry, sterling silver requires proper care in order to maintain its luster. It is best to store your jewelry in the plastic zip-lock bags that we provide with every item. It is air that tarnishes precious metal, so this method will greatly help in maintaining your jewelry’s brilliance. Also, be sure to put on jewelry last, to minimize contact with hairspray, perfume and make-up.
We recommend three methods of cleaning:
1) Use a silver polishing cloth. Clean around the stones.
2) Soak your jewelry in a mixture of ¾ sudsy ammonia and ¼ all purpose cleaner (Mr. Clean). Remove after 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and lay flat to dry. This method should not be used on jewelry with stones.
3) Line a glass dish with aluminum foil, dull side up. Add enough warm water just to cover the jewelry. Stir in powdered Tide laundry detergent. Soak jewelry for 5 to 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and lay flat to dry. This method should not be used on jewelry with stones.

A: We use UPS for all domestic shipments. If you want to know the time in transit for your ground shipment, please go to ups.com and follow the prompts. You will be able to type in our zip code (94103) and yours in order to find out shipping time. If you need your package sooner, please select either our 3-day or 2-day shipping options. Q: How do I qualify for a discount?
A: Clients who Login with a valid Resale License are eligible for discounts on quantity purchases. Orders over $500 will receive a discount of 15%. Orders over $1,000 will receive a discount of 20%. The appropriate discount will be applied automatically, and will be subject to Resale License verification by our staff before shipping. Only clients using a Resale License are eligible for discounts.
